In 2003, eight Rhode Islander created a secret apartment in the busy Mall Providence Place and kept them running for four years to film everything on the way. The secret mall apartment was much more than just a wild prank and became an incredibly meaningful act for all participants, at the same time an act of defiance against local gentrification, a cross-border work of public/private art and a place of 750 square meters that continues to the man.
